There was no grass. The front desk was friendly. We could not get the satellite to work which could have been due to strong winds. Google maps incorrectly directed us 15 miles west of the campground. The sites were not very long. Stayed here a couple nights to explore the town and Route The park is in back of the general "Seligman arizona campgrounds with electric hookups" and the bathrooms are shared by customers.
The showers were locked and you had to get a key to use them. They could use updating but were functional and clean. The sites are gravel with raised areas for the hookups. Some sites had shade trees. Railroad tracks were nearby, but didn't bother me. Trains run all night long. If you are a light sleeper, this campground is not for you. It appears to be a stopping point for tour buses. Since the town is Seligman arizona campgrounds with electric hookups old route 66, there are plenty of gift shops and restaurants.
We had a level, gravel, pull through FHU site that was satellite friendly. The bathrooms are old but clean. The site was somewhat level and long enough to stay hooked up with a pull through. The staff was friendly.
The next day there were no flooded areas or puddles in the site. The pool was clean and has an actual deep end.
The RR track runs nearby and the trains run every hour night and day. They don't blow the whistle so it didn't bother us. Next to freeway - noisy. Basically a dirt lot with hook-ups. Don't recommend unless you're very desperate. Basic, overnight stay site. It is noisy due to location above I Nice people, but not much to it. What a great Park!!
